Maintenance Technician
Summary:
Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Essential Functions:
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, pulleys, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Ability to assemble, install, test and maintain basic electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
Plan and participate in equipment installations including conveyors, pumps, motors, equipment machine, seal bars, gearboxes, cylinders, chains, belts, carriers etc.
Support assembly line in general with rearrangements, troubleshooting issues and repairs as required.
Must be physically capable of performing work from ladders, platforms, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full- time day position.
Hours of work are 7:

to 5:
30 p.
m.
Monday thru Friday, and available on case by case basis to support 24/7 plant operation.
Must be available for work during weekends as needed based on department needs.
Position may be on a rotating on-call schedule and schedule may vary depending on needs of department which include night shifts.
Starting Pay:
$18.
00/hr negotiable based on experience.
